I'm making my lj friends only again.

I signed up for summer courses. Oh yay. Now here's the thing. If any of the courses don't go through (because not enough people signed up), I'm royally screwed. One, I don't get my money back for the courses. Two, if say one course goes and one doesn't, it wont be enough hours to count as full time, so my loan will be terminated, and then I'll have to pay cash. Three, what I'll probably end up doing if that happens is I'll get out of the class, but then I'll probably have to go home since I don't want to overuse my friends' hospitality. Four, that means I'll have to quit any job I get and then try and find one again next semester. Five, I'll have to take out yet another loan so I can take classes for spring, which would really be unneccessary if I take the summer courses. Six, if I do have to graduate in spring, I wont be graduating with any of my friends since Kristine is graduating in December now.

So everybody hope and pray that we get enough people in my classes. There aren't so far, but there are eight more days left to register. Please please please get enough students!

Has anyone ever bought glasses online. I've read some reviews of this place, and they're all good. So I'm a bit excited. Plus, if I don't like them, I can return them, and I'll be minus like eight bucks. $8 isn't a bad price to pay for a mistake... especially since I'm trying to con my parents into getting me the glasses.

I also need a new bike. I'm really feeling the effects of not having a bike. I need to work on that. You know, if all of my friends were to get together for my birthday and pay a little bit into a bike for me, I could have one Hell of a bike and really awesome (not to mention useful and practical) birthday gift. And if you call my parents, they may be willing to chip in a few bucks too. Then we can spend my birthday bike shopping... see the bad part with anything for me is I get fairly particular of what I want and like. I bet a can find a fair-priced bike at the Walmart. It wont be as nice as my last one (tear), but it'll do until I win the lottery or something. UNless of course you want to expend the hundred and something dollars I put into my bike (not counting the several baskets I fucked up).

Girl says, "Well I don't believe in evolution, so how does it work then?"

I wanted to turn around and say, "Then get out of the class!" but I didn't.

Teacher replys, "Well, that's the explanation I have for you."

Now granted the explanation was way overly simplified, it got the point across. I was just upset by the girl. Maybe her cells wont go through meiosis. They'll only divide once, and she'll give birth to a fish... like the Jesus fish. Maybe she'll be happy then.

Also, I got the e-mail about donating blood. it made me upset because I can't anymore, all because of a false positive on some test.

Isn't that just cool¡

Last night I had a horrible fever. I was sweating so horribly that I got up to change clothes because they were soaking wet, and there was a Dereck-shaped puddle on my bed sheets. I layed down a beach towel over the bed and layed on it, but I was still sweating so my clean clothes were still moist.

And of course I didn't have a fever when I went to the doctor. IN fact, though I still had the sore throat and all, I was the healtheist I've been since before the weekend. It's like a law that you will not be sick when you actually get to the doctor.

So I do have strep throat, and it caused an ulcer on on of my tonsils which led to a viral infection! So much fun! I just think it was so cool, and it'd be so much cooler if it wasn't in my body. I really want to know all that's going on in there. Where's Ms. Frizzle when you need her?
So with a bacteria and a virus attacking my body, it's kinda like this cool double whammy super force disease team Ka-Blouw! awesome.

I have a weeks worth of antibiotics. You need to be cool like me and say antEE bEEotics.

I'm all stinky smelly. No matter how many showers, soap, and deodorant/anitperspirant I use, I'm sweating too much for it all to matter.

We looked at stuff under microscopes today. Unlike last year, my chloroplasts werent moving. I so wanted to swab my mouth and see if I could find something in the microscope, but I was too nervous to ask. Oh, and no, they don't have petri dishes with the agar jelly nor do they have a incubation anything for me to put my strep on to watch it grow.

I was kinda hoping the doctor would tell me not to go to classes today. Eventhough I have a bunch of assignments due, I'm kinda like bleh bleh bleh lay down and sleep in my overly moist bed.

I got to look at fruit flys. I was the only one besides Dr. Seron who thought they were cool. Everyone was like, "ew!And I was so like, "Look at you finger nails under the microscope, they're abotu a billion time grosser than the fruit flys." It's true. Go do it. Now.

So what are the plans for Kristine's birthday? This is most definately something I need to know.

okay, so besides the pain and the not wanting to eat anything because of the worse pain and the random fever and sweating and sore neck, it's pretty damned awesome.

You have to see my tonsils. They are way more than twice thier normal size, and they look like pink popcorn! My throat is red and has random white blotches. I so wish I had the stuff to make bacterial culture samples. My gums are all round and swollen, and I like poking at them because they hurt. I just love when things like this happen because it's exciting. I've been thinking of all the little bacteria that are just living back there and they're these living organisms multiplying and having a party. Bacteria are so cool. I think if I weren't myself, I'd want to be a bacteria.

So I can kinda only drink warm tea and eat melted chocolate with little pain. But that doesn't sounds so bad now does it?

I'm debating as to whether I should stay the night here and see the doctor in the morning to get penicillin, or if I should just tough it out and let it run its course. Strep only lasts about two weeks, and it's only contagious for the first two days, so it shouldn't be a problem. Hey, and unlike other sore throats, at least this doesn't have a cough.

EDIT: Okay so apparently the not contagious after two days is only with treatment. Otherwise, I'll be contagious for several weeks after I have no symptoms! Isn't it grand?!

Apparently I'm on the dean's list. I thought you needed a 3.5 to be on there... maybe I do have a 3.5, but I thought it was 3.3 or something like that.

Hi. I'm taking a figure drawing class this semester. I got my supply list yesterday. See, now like every college student, I'm poor. So what I was hoping is that maybe someone (or someones) out there has art supplies that they aren't using and can give me. please. Or maybe we can negotiate a low price or something. Following is a list of supplies I need for the class.
